Work in tech: Canadian companies hiring now

Looking for your next job? Canadian startups are hiring software developers, sales representatives, mechanical engineers, marketing coordinators and other great roles.
Need some advice before you send in your resume? We asked Kat Wong Too Yen, marketing director at Perch, for her advice when applying. “Do your homework. Search for recent press releases, check YouTube or listen to a podcast where the founder is featured. You can learn a lot about their story and strategic vision that way,” Wong Too Yen says, adding that recent applicants who had read Perch’s blog or had signed up for an account to understand the customer experience were the ones that stood out from the crowd. “Be involved and keep up with the community, too,” she says. “Subscribe to newsletters, follow thought leaders and attend meetups. It’s a simple way to get a deeper understanding of the trends and challenges facing the industry.” You can find great open roles at Perch, Maple and other Canadian tech companies below.
